Chili Bar River Clean Up 2018

Three times a summer the boating community gets together to clean up the 3 sections of the South Fork American River.

Today is the Chili Bar to Coloma Clean Up.  Approximately 35 wonderful souls are out on the water right now cleaning up this section. After a hard days work on the water they will be treated to a BBQ lunch.

Thanks to all the volunteers that came out today to help make this a success. And thank you to Blue Shield for allowing your employees to take the day off to support this wonderful cause with pay. And thank you to the several outfitters who also come out for these events. River Runners, H2O, Mother Lode, All Outdoors and the Coloma Shuttle. And any others I may have missed. We thank you!!

On July 19th is the lower section also known as the Gorge Run. And on August 22 is the lower water day for Coloma to Greenwood.
